Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Blockworks Long Beach Concrete & Masonry handles the information you share with us through this website. We're a masonry contractor in Long Beach, CA, and the site exists so homeowners can learn about our work and ask for an estimate, so we keep what we collect to what helps us do that.
It applies to every page on our site, starting with the home page, and to the messages you send us through it. If you call us at (562) 257-3026, we handle what you tell us on the phone the same way.
What information we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we collect what you type in. That's usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property, and a description of the job, plus any photos you choose to send.
Our contact form runs on an outside form service, so your entry passes through that service before it reaches us. That company handles your entry under its own privacy terms.
We don't ask for payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive details through this website, and we ask that you not send them in a form or email.
Cookies and site analytics
Like most websites, ours may use cookies, which are small files your browser stores so a site can remember a visit. We may also use an analytics tool that counts things like which pages get visited, how long people stay, what kind of device they use and roughly where in the region they're browsing from.
We use these numbers to see which pages people find useful and which need work, not to identify you. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work for reading pages and sending us a message.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to your request, schedule an estimate, talk through your job, and keep a record of the work we quote or complete at your property.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with other companies for their own marketing. We only pass details along when the job calls for it, such as to a supplier delivering material to your address, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details and job notes for as long as we need them to finish the work, stand behind it and keep normal business records. If you reach out and we never end up working together, we don't hold on to your details any longer than our records reasonably require.
When we no longer need something, we delete it or remove the parts that identify you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we'll do that unless we have to keep a record for a job we did or for a legal reason. Depending on where you live, state law may give you further rights over your personal information, and we'll honor those requests as the law requires.
You can also tell us to stop contacting you at any time. We'll take you off our list, and you won't hear from us again unless you reach out first.
Children's information
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a home or property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn that a child has sent us their details, we'll delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page. The version posted here is the one that applies.
How to raise a privacy question or concern
If you have a question about your information or want to make a request, send us a message through our contact page or call (562) 257-3026, and tell us what you'd like us to do. We'll reply within 1 business day and may ask a question or two to confirm it's really you before we change or delete anything.
If you'd like to know more about who we are before you reach out, you can read about our company.
